Elephant Paradise Safari – 3 Days Amboseli

Elephants and Kili

A safari to Amboseli National Park is a unique experience. Seeing large elephant families in front of the world's highest free-standing mountain Mt. Kilimanjaro is an image you will never forget.  Amboseli is famous for the Big Tuskers and large families of up to 100 individuals. The swampy areas are not home to elephants alone - Amboseli is rich on different bird species. Also you will find lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffes, plenty of buffalos and many antelope species.

We have different accomodation on offer for every budget.  The safari is full-board with water included.

Prices

Prices vary according to two different options: your accomodation and the tour style you want to travel with. We would advise yout to go on a Private Safari, that gives you the chances to customize your itinerary and game viewing experiences as per your wish. In case of a Joining Safari you will share your car with other people, which is great to reduce the cost and get to know other people.

Day 1 Nairobi to Maasai Mara
We start with an early pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi and make our way into the east of Kenya. Before we arrive in Amboseli National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro - the world's tallest fr ee-standing mountain - will show you the way with an awesome view. We arrive for lunch in Amboselis Sopa Lodge, where we will spend both of our nights. Sopa Lodge is equipped with a pool and has around 80 cottages and rooms which are designed in rustique Maasai style. After lunch and a little time for relaxing we proceed to our first game drive. In the evening there is a great chance of seeing the big cats going to hunt and we will also enjoy a breathtaking sunset.

Day 2 Full-Day Game Drive
This day we will be on a full-day game drive through the park. The Amboseli National Park is famous for its large concentrations of elephants. Some of the biggest elephants of Kenya are living here. I t's an awesome sighting if you see a family of up to 100 individuals with their youngest crossing your road just in front of your car. During the hot hours of the day you find many of the herbivore animals like elephants, buffalo and antelopes around the swampy areas of the park. If you love birds, you are right here as well. Many bird species call Amboselis swamps their home. We have packed lunch on a small hill that gives you the perfect view of the area.  In the late afternoon we make our way back to lodge/camp where you can enjoya a cold beer with the view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Or you can visit a nearby Maasai village on an optional basis.

Day 3 Amboseli back to Nairobi
Today we start early with a morning game drive - the best time to see lions or hyenas hunting for food. Take pictures of Mount Kilimanjaro in the morning light and simply enjoy nature and wildlife. Fo r breakfast we return back to the lodge and get ready for our drive back to Nairobi - or if you want we can connect you to Mombasa at Kenyas coast and beaches.
